The Garden Cottage is a truly idyllic place to stay with the feel of a tropical safari retreat. Tucked away among the hibiscus and shaded by a coconut palm, the quiet thrum of birdsong and singing frogs sends you to sleep at night and accompanies your mornings. We loved our lazy breakfasts on the kitchen veranda overlooking the gardens - front row seats to a family of monkeys and visiting humming birds. The bed, bathroom and storage space are just right and the decor is charming. Mamta is a font of knowledge on Barbados including the island’s lesser known attractions and great places to eat, shop or rent cars. You can walk to the beach and the plentiful bars and restaurants along St Lawrence Gap; everything else is a bus ride away. We will definitely be coming back.

stayed here for 1 week in February. it was absolutely lovely. I felt very safe as a single female traveller. the bedroom and bathroom were extremely spacious, as was the rest of the cottage, and very clean also.
kitchen amenities plentiful including a coffee machine ! lovely 'outside' room to relax in and have coffee / breakfast in the morning with a view of the beautiful and peaceful garden. location was perfect, less than 10 mins walk to nearest beach which is beautiful, full of amenities including cafes, toilets etc. or for a more secluded beach it was a 15 mins walk. local convenience store only 5 mins walk. ZR (Bus) stops to take you to either north or further south of the Island, including the airport, only a 2 mins walk.

Thank you Mamta ! A perfect host, was lovely meeting you .. we had a wonderful stay in your 2 bedroom cottage absolutely stunning property .. We had everything we needed for such a peaceful and relaxing stay .. loved the tranquilty the wildlife, especially the monkeys passing through daily .. Reggae buses run from the top of the road to Oistens fish fry, amazing food as always ! or to Bridgetown which we used regularly and are a cheap way of getting to other beaches along the coast .. 15 mins walk down to Dover beach and the Gap .. all in easy reach .. wish we could of stayed longer !! .. always a pleasure to visit Barbados our "Happy Place " look forward to coming back..
